Watermelon Gummy Paws
/I make our Gummy paws often so Kirby can have a few each week since gelatin is so good for him. Gelatin is normally consumed by wild carnivores from their fresh kill. The main ingredient is collagen, a protein found in animal tissues, ligaments, tendons, bones and skin. Glycine, the main amino acid in gelatin, is said to protect against seizures and brain damage. I do, on rare occasions, simply pour some unflavored Knox gelatin over his meal.
I wasn't sure if these would have enough flavor but he loves them so I guess there is just enough sweetness. Of course he really loves watermelon.
