Pumpkin Puppucinos
/Pumpkin is considered one of the top foods for both humans and dogs for good reason. Its packed with vitamin A, potassium, and iron. It's the perfect medicine for an upset tummy since it can clear up both diarrhea or constipation. Pumpkin is usually hard to find outside the fall months so I stock up cans of this power food while it's available. Be sure to check the expiration dates. If pumpkin just can't be found consider substituting with sweet potatoes or squash. To use fresh veggies all you need to do is cook and purée them first. If your dog doesn't like the tang of yogurt use coconut milk or almond milk.
This can be served as a side dish or mixed with kibble. I like to use the little plastic bathroom cups which equal 1/4 cup servings. Warm for about 20 seconds in the microwave and freeze the extras. When ready to serve just grab a few cups, let them thaw, and warm up in the microwave. Your dog is gonna love this treat and you're gonna love how good it is for him!
